Planning is essential for a sense of organization in our daily lives. But how much organization is too much organization? It’s time for you to stop planning and start living.
Some people like to strategize their daily activities. Drop off the kids, go to work, come home, sleep, repeat. In other words, some people love autopilot. Don’t get me wrong, planning is totally necessary to prevent potential chaos. But is it necessary to implement for our daily lives from the time we should be married, have babies, make one million by 30, and have a house by 25? I’m sorry but we can’t all be Beyonce.
Living your life in such a manner ultimately leads to disappointment. When things don’t flow with our timeline, it can leave us a bit discouraged. The plan you make for yourself is not always the plan destiny may have for you. Learn to leave room for destiny to play a role in your life.
For instance, you may have a moment, a day, or a period in life where you’ve got space or time to literally just dwindle your fingers. For some people, that makes them anxious, because IDK idle hands are the devil’s playground? But check this out, you can actually get up and just…go.
Go with the flow of wherever life takes you. You quit your job and have no idea what’s next? Just start moving. You have a day off and made no plans, yet want to go out and do something? Start moving. Moved to a new town and have no idea how to meet new people? Just. Start. Moving.
Not everything in life has to have a plan. There’s beauty in freedom, and the ability to simply be with no judgments, nor expectations. Sometimes you have to grab your keys, get in the car, and drive, No GPS.
Finally and most importantly, just know that wherever you end up is exactly where you’re supposed to be at that very moment, every time.
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better
